Mrs Brown’s Boys star Danny O’Carroll, who is in a new relationship, shared an update following the breakdown of his marriage

Mrs. Brown’s Boys star Danny O’Carroll shared an update with fans after his recent marriage breakdown. Fans were shocked when Danny revealed he parted ways with Amanda Woods – with whom he shares two sons, Blake and Jamie – last year after 17 years together.

The Irish actor, best known for his role as Buster Brady, has since moved on with new girlfriend Tina, who he recently described as his “everything”. And now, he revealed his family have been very supportive, with his sister being a huge help to him as she also went through a breakup three years ago.

During a recent interview, the actor opened up on what it felt like turning 40 years old and discussed his relationship and private life. The RTE Dancing With The Stars favourite recently told RSVP Magazine: “My whole family has, everyone has been there for me. My family is very supportive, they’re supportive to both me and Amanda and to the kids. My family is fantastic.” He also went on to share he still “feels 21” despite being 20 years older.

Last month, Danny shared insights into his blossoming relationship with Tina, who he describes as his “everything”. He candidly admitted that his fitness routine took a backseat once they started dating.

He said joining Dancing with the Stars has been a huge help in improving his overall health after he gained weight during the early days of his relationship with Tina. Speaking fondly of his new girlfriend, he proudly expressed: “It’s amazing. She is incredible. Seeing her in the front row every week, giving me that little fist pump and blowing me kisses. It means everything. She’s brilliant. She is amazing. She’s so good to me.”

At 41, Danny also disclosed that he’s been successfully dropping the pounds that crept on while he was enjoying cosy days in with Tina, complete with Netflix binges and vodka and cokes.

He also reflected: “I lost a lot of weight. It was the best I ever felt in my life and then I went through a separation and then after maybe a year or so, I was still in a good stage and looking after myself, but I met my partner, Tina, I sort of started having lazy days in, on the couch watching Netflix, having a few vodkas and coke.”
