“So he always sees his older brother on there, he always sees me on there, his mam plays Betty on the show, so he’s always saying when am I going to get a go?’ So this year, finally grandad gave him his wish and let him have a go.”

Meanwhile, Danny told RSVP Magazine that he will be fully supportive of his Jamie and Blake’s future career choices, whether they pursue acting as a full-time job or not.

He told us: “As long as they are happy and healthy, I will be happy. Whether they go down the road of acting or not, it doesn’t bother me.

“There as one stage where Jamie wanted to be a marine biologist and I was a bit shocked. I don’t know where he got that from.

“Jamie is a very intelligent kid so I hope acting doesn’t get in his way if he wants to go to college.

“I will always be there for them no matter what they want to do.”
