Danny O’Carroll knows a thing or two about family. His is totally integrated into the Mrs Brown’s Boys cast, meaning they’re part of both his personal and professional life.
The actor shares two sons, Jamie and Blake, with his ex-wife Amanda Woods, and has spoken out about how easy it was to introduce his new love Martina McCafferty into their lives.
Not only that, but Tina has two young children of her own, a son and daughter, who have also accepted Danny with open arms.

With four children and two exes between them, Danny and Tina have found themselves navigating a blended family situation which seems to be working out well for them as ‘everybody gets on’.
Speaking to RSVP magazine, the Mrs Brown’s Boys actor said: ‘I love her kids to bits and she loves my kids to bits, and that’s the way it is. They have their dad and my kids have their mum.’

‘Everybody gets on. The kids come first in everything we decide. None of this is their problem with what went on in our marriages,’ Danny continued.
Danny’s sister Fiona O’Carroll, who also split from her husband and Mrs Brown’s Boys co-star Martin Delany, has been a huge support to him, as has the entire O’Carroll clan, in the aftermath of his split from Amanda.

‘My whole family has, everyone has been there for me. My family is very supportive, they’re supportive to both me and Amanda and to the kids. My family is fantastic,’ Danny gushed.
Danny married his ex-wife Amanda in 2007. The former couple went on to welcome two sons- 18-year-old Jamie and Blake, 14.
Jamie stars as Bono, Mrs Brown’s grandson, while Blake made his debut as Blister on the show in 2019.

It’s unknown when Danny and Amanda parted ways; however, the pair haven’t appeared on each other’s Instagram feeds since Christmas 2021 (with the exception of cast photos) and have also unfollowed one another.
Danny confirmed his split from Amanda when he hard-launched his romance with Tina in the summer of 2024.
