Mrs Brown’s Boys Star To Switch On Tipp Town Christmas Lights

The Christmas lights “turn on” event at the Market Yard in Tipperary Town on Sunday December 10th offers a terrific afternoon for visitors and residents to Tipperary town.

Eilish O’Carroll, who plays Winnie McGoogan in the hit TV comedy series, Mrs Brown’s Boys will be on hand to switch on the lights shortly after 5pm on Sunday December 10th. Santa is expected to arrive at approximately 5pm and will have Lidl goodie bags for all the children attending the event.

Entertainment will include Christmas Songs by The Voice of Ireland Finalist, Cycle Against Suicide Ambassador, actress and singer Kayleigh Cullinan, along with D.J. Francis, The C.J. Kickham Band, Pat the Magician with Balloon Modelling. There will be face painting also available along with a number of stalls.

Tipperary Chamber of Commerce say they are delighted to have such a famous and talented person to switch on the Christmas lights. The Chamber Committee is also extending thanks to all of the volunteers and to the businesses in the town who have contributed so generously to the cost of the lights this year. Thanks are also extended to Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Vintage Rally and all sponsors for their valuable support.

Everybody is welcome to join in a warm celebration of Christmas in Tipperary town on Sunday between 5 and 7pm at the Market Yard.
