Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier declares love for co-star in sweet confession

Strictly Come Dancing contestant Bobby Brazier has said there are days when he loves his pro dance partner Dianne Buswell but joked there are also days when he doesn’t like her

Bobby Brazier has revealed how much he loves his Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Dianne Buswell.

The EastEnders actor – who is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and late Big Brother star Jade Goody – is dancing with Dianne on the current series of the BBC ballroom contest and the pair have been wowing viewers and the judges with their powerful performances.

They have developed a close bond during the competition, and during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Bobby said there were times he loved the dancer. However, he also admitted there were days he didn’t like her very much thanks to her keeping his nose to the grindstone when it came to perfecting their moves.

As they talked about the importance of gelling with their dance partners, Bobby said: “We spend so much time together, literally all day every day we are together.” “If we didn’t like each other, that would be an issue,” pointed out Dianne, who is in a relationship with YourTuber Joe Sugg.

Laughing, Bobby teased that he wasn’t always that keen on his dance partner. “There are times when I do not like you, and there are times when I love you,” he said.

Christine Lampard, who was filling in for regular host Lorraine Kelly on the programme, asked if that was about Dianne cracking the whip and making him rehearse so much. Looking bashful, the actor replied: “Yeah sometimes!”

The pair also said they were starting to understand each other more as the contest goes on. And Bobby suggested that they were “rubbing off on each other” in certain ways. He also said that he was improving when it came to working a little harder.

Bobby, 20, is thought to be one of the favourites to win Strictly this year. So far he and Dianne have been turning in good scores each week.
